Our Cake Topper
I wasn't going to have a cake topper, because most of them were tacky bride/grooms or Monograms etc.
I was set on just having Hydrangea's on the top, however the more I thought about it, the more I thought it would be neat to have a keepsake from our wedding like the cake topper.
I started looking for something "Disney" themed seeing we got engaged there. I first looked at glass Cinderella castle's (like the one at Disneyland) but didn't find anything. I was on shop google and the PERFECT cake topper came up!!
(See below!)

Although we aren't fond of sporting our Mickey Ear hats, we will be wearing them at the rehearsal. The precious moments figurine will be perfect I will frame the pictures of us in the matching hats and put it next to the cake!
I'm so excited!

Taste Matters
Chocolate/oreo filling
Orange Pound/Coconut Cream filling
Tonight I went to a tasting for a caterer and they had a baker there as well. She looks at me and goes "hm have I met you before" I said "well I work at a bridal shop in castle rock" she said "we did that bridal show at the molly brown summer house and no one showed up!" I said "OHYA!" I worked that show last May with my sister Heather and we had her AMAZING cake..seriously yum. At the time I wasn't thinking wedding bells so I totally forgot about her.I am SO glad she was there tonight because she has the best orange cake ever (among other flavors!) She gave us 3 slices of cake to bring home to the men to taste!

T.N.T. #1

Starting every Tuesday I will update you with random wedding thoughts..enjoy :)
Tuesday Night Thoughts:
1. I keep having dreams that my photographer is late and it's raining.
2. I am slightly addicted to http://www.theknot.com/ and stole almost every wedding idea from them.
3. I freaked at seeing 3month 4weeks until Wday on my countdown clock
4. I am trying to ignore my stomach pain as I write this
5. Can't wait to put on my wedding dress...but what girl wouldn't!
6. Wish I could show you my dress, but there is a male lurker that isn't allowed to see.
xoxo

Ceremony Music

After much debate we decided to book a Classical Gutiar player for the Ceremony.
Michael Lancaster is a talented Bagpiper and Gutairist.
He will play before/during/Cocktail hour.
You can check out his music on his website http://bagpipersinternational.com/
Now we have to pick the songs~!

Wedding Bands
I put a ring on layaway for Bradley at Shane co. however I'm not "Sold" on it yet. I found some other rings online that look pretty cool. The first one is a hardwood inlay on titanium, which is pretty unique. The other rings below it are called Mokume rings, it's a process with the different metal that makes the rings look like a wood grain. I like the ones with the inlays the best.
